You will also learn much more, such as the layout of Toontown's files (both resources and code), how to prepare a model to be game-ready, how to create client-server interactions, and much more. Yes, you will learn how to utilize Panda3D's tools. Yes, you will learn how to program in Python. The goal of the course is to teach both of those, and how they can be used to develop content for Toontown. This server is not for learning just Python, or just Panda3D. If you are disruptive in any way, you will be warned, and then banned. There are channels on the server for everyone to talk as they please without disrupting any learning. While this server is aimed at being a learning environment, it's worth noting that we don't have our pants in a twist.
We will, however, review the assignments you submit and provide feedback to help you become a better programmer. We will be creating assignments in order to provide incentive for you to practice what you learn, but they won't actually count for anything. There will not be any proper "grades" or "tests" in this course. They will also be uploaded publicly to Youtube within two days of concluding. A microphone is not required to attend these lectures. These will take place in the server's public voice channels. This course will consist of a weekly lecture every Saturday between 6 PM EST and 9 PM EST.
You will simply be assigned the bystander role, and will be expected not to be disruptive.

The test server was closed on August 20, 2013, following the announcement of the closure of Toontown Online. Testers had a separate set of Toons through the test server than on the open server, which prevented possible data corruption between the servers.
